Heatproof can transform the traceability of your raw steel and part processed products from country of origin to end market distribution.
Our heat resistant labels and tags are highly effective in steel manufacturing across numerous applications. Heatproof labels for steel can be applied up to 800°C and pass through various re-heating processes.
Heatproof tags can be applied to steel at temperatures up to 1200°C and reheated to maintain traceability in the annealing and/or quenching process.
Both our blank label and tag materials can be supplied to your specific dimensions, and then printed on site with a thermal transfer machine. This gives you total flexibility to create variable data labels or tags for steel products.
DURABILITY DURING REHEATING & QUENCHING
Heatproof barcode and serial number tracking labels and tags will withstand temperatures up 1200°C for many hours, enabling the information they carry to survive the rigours of annealing and heat reprocessing.
Design, print and application
Our high temperature labels and tags can include a wide range of text, and both 1D and 2D barcodes. The design software is easy to use and has the flexibility to include all necessary information in very small or large text layouts. This allows for both long range scanning of barcodes and easily readable text.
Printing is by thermal transfer printers which are a proven and relatively low-cost solution. There is a variety of application methods depending on temperature, number of labels and budget. We have manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic systems available and can advise you on the best approach.
